Comedy arrangements

This section contains arrangements for a cappella groups written and performed in my university years. They are usually TTBB, and meant to performed with one person in each voice. This is where I started my musical career so most arrangements are a bit older and (quite frankly) not as good. But you have to start somewhere…

Xenoapella
Kårspexet “På gränsen” (2013-14)
I wanna go / B. Spears

This is the most specific arrangement I have ever made. It was commissioned with very precise requirements on the singers abilities and vocal styles and I spent over 100 hours on it, refining and tuning. It was made for the musical “På gränsen” at KTH (Royal Institute of Technology) and is based on the lesser known Britney Spears’ song “I wanna go”. The text is about being afraid of those who are different, what needs to be done to secure a town in times of war and wanting to leave for a better life. All from the characters perspecitve. Scoring is  SSATBBB.

20XX

Say somthing

A rip of an arrangement made for one of the world’s best choirs, Stellenbosch University Choir, of “Say somthing” by “A great big world”. Highly dynamic and rather demanding it suits a large SATB choir.
